This course was designed to assist new supervisors as well as seasoned supervisors with the tools to be successful in their supervisory roles. After seeing the frustrations of many new supervisors that have been thrust into their new roles without any training, I wanted to offer guidance to support their success. If you have been promoted to a supervisory role, you know that going from peer to supervisor can be extremely challenging. Often, there is not much guidance on what to expect, what to do, and how to adjust your mindset.
This session will give you an overview of the basics so that you can jump in without as many questions, surprises, and frustrations. Great leadership skills don’t just show up with a job title. A talented employee that has been promoted to a team lead, supervisor, or manager position deserves to be given the proper tools to be successful in their new leadership role. START involves the understanding of SwOt Analysis, Training, Action, Reinforcement, and Trust.
